Sad news - Eliane Marks

For those of you who have met Elton (user ID sstrout) and Eliane Marks, I am very sorry to say that Eliane Marks passed away last Friday.

May she rest in peace.

From Elton: Because friends were important to her, there will be a ceremony celebrating her life on Monday, May 19th, at 6:00PM.

That is really saddening news. My wife and I spent some time at their home for a Tech Session, and she was very nice to be around.

I rode down yesterday to pay my respects.

The room was packed. Testament to all the friends Eliane had made throughout her life.

Beautiful celebration of her life. They had a couple of TV screens where they were showing pictures of her and Elton from several trips etc.

Unfortunately I did not stay too long since I wanted to head back. Got home just before 3 AM.

I can't imagine what you are feeling. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you.

As Raffy said, there was standing room only in the chapel and many people spoke of their love and respect for Eliane. I hope in time your faith brings you peace.

..... a charming person, a beautiful woman, I had the chance to meet her on a 3 days trip to Mexico ,I was impressed by her spirit and attitude. what a tragedy.
