Greetings All,
Kinda new to this EWS thing. Haven't had any issues (yet?) with my '08 RT. I was pondering where I might affix some velcro to attach my garage door opener. Clutch reservoir looked like a decent spot. Any possibility that my Garage remote may interfere/jack up the "ring", etc? Thanks in advance for your knowledge.

I put my garage opener inside the cd box. The door has a lock and I don't use the cd since I have XM.

When you are seated on the bike I velcroed mine to the left side panel. There is nothing there for the remote to interfere with.

That device would also have to respond in a compatible data string, but give an incorrect answer. The garage door opener would not do that. Another thing to remember is that the EWS system only pings the key to allow the bike to start - once started there is no possibility of any RFID device or EWS system failure stopping the engine.

Thanks Guys! I'm going after the velcro as soon as I'm done with this post.
Cheers!
