Anyone found a good organizer for your owner's manuals and other important documents you want to carry in the bike. The clear vinyl organizer that came with the bike is giving up the ghost. I saw one called the MotoOrganizer at A&S and the smaller one called MotoFile. Any other suggestions?

What clear vinyl?

Maybe there is at least one thing BMW has improved as my bike came with a nice leather organizer which holds the manuals, plastic cards etc.

Ari,
The nice leather holders did not come with the bike until 2005. Before 2005, we had the *lovely* vinyl pouch.:D

I purchased a book cover. It is about 7"X6"X2" and unzipps into two different sections. In one side I keep maps, BMWMOA Annonymous book, dealer listings, etc. In the other there is a pad, pen holder, and I keep extra unused intercom cables and my travel journal there. In the outside packets I keep a first aid kit and some sun block and ear plugs. It is made of leatherette, has a carry handle and looks nice. It is a little big for some, but I find it very useful. $9.95 at BJ's or probably any book store.

Yeah and I've scared the dickens outta myself more'n once thinking I had lost mine (owner's manuals, registration and insurance papers). For some reason it does not prefer to stay in the compartment under the trunk lid (due I presume to fully loaded trunk bag). Actually found it in the area behind the rear seat and trunk more'n once.
