Gosh, I know we don't have our next RTE until May 17th (that is a loooooong time to wait for PIE and bread puddin), but where is everyone? The site has been awfully quiet the past few days. I'm sure Griff, David or Jerry can stir up some S%*&!

There are hundreds of posts everyday that we respond to. I bet you're just hanging out in our local forum. If you the "new activity" button and then "since last visit" you'll see more trouble than you need.

I bean buying me a new moto. Ya know, sometimes an urge just hits you to do something different, whacky or completely out of character. The LT is sitting outside hobbled with a bad rear drive. Can't get in the shop until May 21. Nice weather, no bike, big bummer. Made the mistake of going to Alamo BMW's Triumph open house last Saturday. Consequently, I am the proud owner of a new Triumph Tiger, 114 ponies and half the weight of the LT, and completely farklable. Going to use it as a kick-butt platform for an adventure tourer, big 45 liter aluminum panniers, the works. What about the LT you say? Probably going to sell it to pay for the Tiger farkles.

How's that for trouble, senyor Grif?

Hey, Bud. Got the lift all set up at the casa. Can do the FD swapectomy here, or move it all down to the storage unit and you can have a key to work on it when you wanna. You already have the FD from Tony?

Now Bruce that is not true!!! Your brother's DOES look like a zebra (white/black) this one looks like a tiger (reddish/orange). Give me some credit here. . . I can't help it that your brother bought a zebra bike.

Naaaah, but I don't know any of those people and if Im gonna eat PIE it's gonna be with my beloved friends and partners in crime. I'm sure other groups wouldn't know that I am royalty anyway. :D

Dan: Thanks, I bought a FD from Mr. Tony at LTParts.

Dukey Dave: Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. Well, maybe I did.

Dick and Bones: Shop date to fix the FD is May 21 at Lone Star. Couldn't get in any earlier.

Pie Princess: Would be delighted to bring the zeb.., er, Tiger to the RTE, skeddle permitting. Wherezit gonna be? This is an RTE thread after all.

I came very close to buying a Tiger. BMW N. Dallas had a nice Black one a couple of years ago......came really close. Bought the KTM 950 instead.

I think you'll really like the Tiger. When you ride the LT for a day, then switch to the Tiger it will feel like it weighs about 2 lbs. And being able to go off road if you want is a real blast too.
