President Bush on Friday said,
"I think the thing that I would start with was how appreciative people in Africa were of the fact that total strangers cared about their lives. You see, if you are a mother who is holding a baby that is sick because of a mosquito bite, it creates a lot of hopelessness, and you really wonder whether anybody cares. And the fact that total strangers would come together -- in Boys and Girls Clubs, or basketball teams, or singers -- and care about them really lifts their spirits."
I wonder how the Kenyan population - which is one of the wealthiest in Africa and currently slowly starving to death - would feel if we sent the Harlem Globetrotters over to perk them up a bit?
God, I'm gonna' miss Dubyah... :p

Unfortunately, You just can't count on GW being literate..
I just can't believe he got elected somehow. It still boggles me to this day.

That link was Miss South Carolina. Us'ens in North Carolina are much more sophisticated and world'ly than South Carolinians (being closer to New York an all). And you have to make allowances for their women-folk as they grew up with guys named Bubba (really) and rusted out pick-um ups. I go on a mission down there once a year and do my best to help raise their consciousness (and get another risque t-shirt).

LOL... my favorite T-shirt (which my next door neighbor bought for me as a gift for looking after his house) - and I have yet to find the nerve to wear in public sezs:
"Eat s*** and die!" in huge white letters on a black background.
My neighbor and I get along great. :D

King George is almost illiterate, however, he is also very dangerous, as he attracts his own kind.
Lower intelligence is an advantage when you need to communicate with sheep.
