This seems like one of those lifelong unforgettable experiences that would certainly be worth doing:

It does sound & look like an adventure to be had; but not on a Royal Enfield Bullet (http://www.royalenfield.com/app/IN/Products/Bullet350.asp)

Dave the RE would be at least 20% of the fun! They have a mechanic along so any repairs can be made on the fly... this would be a mini version of The Long Way Around.

I read a Rider article on that tour a couple of years ago. They said it was hard. Really hard. Such that some riders dropped out early and went home. And that they brought along not only mechanics, but several spare bikes in case they couldn't get the broken ones back on the road. And they used all the spare bikes even with the dropped out riders.

I think it would be a unique and challenging adventure, but there are so many more places higher up my to-do list than that. Like this one:

5,000.00 EUR = 7,800.44 USD

(Exchange rate as of today)

That is a lot of money!!!! There's a lot more that can be done for that money, if you plan out something yourself and do it a little more free-form.

FWIW, I started to put together a similar ride for some of the MTF folks a year ago. But due to some other priorities in life, a.k.a work, this kinda went to the back burner:) Now that I commute a lot between the US and India, to fulfill said priority :D, I might revive that project again!!

PS: I am not saying anything against what the website has to say.
