Need new glasses?

I am. Needing new glasses that is since my last one fell victim to our room sized tigers and got 'killed'.

So I was thinking, there are so many companies on the web, lets see if there isn't one that sells (prescription) glasses. Lo and behold there are a number of companies, but here is one I thought some of you would love to hear about:

I have not yet ordered anything from them, but I know I *WILL* when I get my new prescription on the weekend. Them prices are simply unbeatable.

As someone who has "progressive" lenses requirements, and have had more than my share of "bad fits" in glasses, these prices are certainly worth "trying"...

You might be luckier with these in the US, but I did a similar search here in Oz for glasses a while back... turns out the "cheapies", even with local contact addresses, were just store fronts for Hong Kong imports, meaning they were probably all fake brands.
Certainly found that there were a lot of US suppliers, but add shipment to here it just put costs over the top.
I got best price from one of our largest & best known optical suppliers with an NRMA (auto association) discount!

I did some research, and I knew it was too good to be true. Basically, they only have one style of glasses, and they're made in North Korea: :eek:

update:

The glasses came today, and guess what: They are exactly as if ordered by the (expensive) outlet around the corner.

I have ordered 2 pair of glasses for myself (including a pair prescription bifocal sunglasses) and a pair of progressives with light sensitivity for my wife and I paid less than for one pair of my single strength.

At these prices they are cheaper than the cheapo's at the corner drug store, but are exactly my prescription.

I am going to order another pair. Just to have a spare pair.

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses from Zenni Optical and received them yesterday. I tried them out today and have to say that they are as good as, if not better than, those ordered from the local 1 hours places.

I will definitely be ordering from them again.
