Howdy, Y'all. I hope you are all doing well.

I've been trying to "justify" the cost of intercom systems. I've got to say, so far my decision is "no, thanks". I have a $200 system I can't get replacment parts for now.

With AutoCom doing a 1/2 price run on their product, it has me wondering ... will they remain in business? Will they decide to aggressivly attack the cost and maintain quaility? Should I purchase the Pro-7 Solo or wait for the "new" model(S)?

Thanks for your wisdom, the "wise cracks" and "wise facts".

Autocom is releasing a new 7-series after the new year. They are clearing out the old 7-series with the half price stuff. I've seen the specs on the new systems, and they are definitely aiming at the Baehr offerings in terms of flexibility and functionality.

According to the documentation I have read, the same headsets from the current 7-series will work with the new 7-series.

ElJeffe, got a link to what AutoComm is planning for 2006 (specs/features)? I looked a bit and couldn't find anything - of course, it could right out in thee open and I might miss it!

I hear they are planning to out-class Baehr... hmm. All together now.. Cha-ching!

I'm going to stay with my wife an my "braille" method. I feel the bumps she puts on my head and figure out what she's trying to tell me.
