Avon Storm Front Tire

I parked my bike after it developed a bad "out of round" feeling in my virtually new front Avon Storm and I will not ride it again until it is replaced.

After getting no response at all from "motorcycleproshop.com" (the site I purchased the tire) to my emails, I contacted Avon directly and was told to take it to a local dealer and get them to request an adjustment for a bad tire.

Just a heads up on Motorcycleproshop.com. Live and learn.

About how many miles did you have on it? I just put a new one on the front of my LT

Around 1200 miles - most of which were highway and some nice mountain roads in North Georgia.

Strange thing - I found an Azaro Avon front tire listed on Ron Ayres site for the LT and since I had such good luck with the last one I ordered one and a new rear radial Bridgestone 020. There was a glitch with the order because I used a debit card and I called them to get it straight (turned out there was no problem) and while on the phone, I asked the girl to confirm that the tire was in fact an Azaro which she said it was.

I received two tires yesterday at 5:30. One Radial 020 and one &#$^# Avon Storm - the very tire I did not want. I called Ron Ayers company and talked with them about my displeasure with my order and they admitted that the Avon Azaro was in fact listed on their web site BUT the Storm was it's replacement. I told them I knew it was the replacement and if I had wanted one I would have ordered one. Since I was having trouble with a Storm I surely did not want another. I am not a happy camper.
