Hi All :-)
I most recently had the opportunity to pick up a corbin back rest at a good price. But I have a 2k 12LTC with the heated seat. Does anyone know of a way I can mount this backrest to the seat. It will make a wonderful mod if I can get it done.
You can get me here or at kjmtravel@msn.com.

Corbin back rest usually slide down into a special made hole in the Corbin seat. Never seen one on an LT, so I really don"t know about them, but I have had several Corbin seats, and the back rest slid into a hole built into the seat on all of them.

Without significant work, no. The Corbin backrest fits in a hole in the Corbin seat on the inside edge of the seat pan in a special bracket. To mock this up on the stock seat, you'd need to remove the cover, cut back the foam from the seat pan at the back, figure out how to rigidly mount the custom bracket you built with enough stability to let you lean back against it without tearing it loose from the stock seat pan, recover it including a custom flap to block moisture from entering the seat when the backrest is not in place and then mount the seat. You can't simply mount it on the outside of the seat pan because it will interfer with the rear seat - not enough space between seats and if you try to make it work, you'll end up tearing the rear seat to pieces.
Best bet, look on the classifieds for a Corbin seat and then sell yours, or, sell your Corbin backrest and use the money to buy a BackUp backrest.
