Well we made it back But not without some trouble. Just coming into Leesville La. when a Leesville police man who was trying to serve a warrant ran a stop sign. Eric Bruebaker was leading our group. Going around 40 - 45 MPH he slams on the brakes the rear tire slides to the right. His right cylinder head hit the front bumper. Ripping the whole front bumper off the car. The bike spun around to the right side of the car and slid about 30 feet. The right head has a huge hole in it and looked to be moved back an inch or so. lots of body damage to the bike. Eric got away unhurt with only a little scratch on his hip. The police said it was their fault and would take care of everything. Eric's wife came to get him and the bike in his pickup. After a few hours Eric "MADE" us get on the road and he waited for the police to come back to take him to a hotel for the night till his wife could get there.

After we got to Barber we had a great time. The place is wonderful. So many nice bikes to look at and the track is incredible I took a lot of pics that will never be seen as some low life decided they wanted my camera more then I did  One of the guys with us is going to let me down load pics he took this weekend so I will have some memories of the trip. 1785 mile round trip and the bike ran great but I did start to get an electronic buzz/ static in the radio around 3000 RPM's.

Sorry about the camera.

Watched the races yesterday and it looked like there was good racing going on.
