I bought a salvaged '07 RT last week ( about 847 mi.), typical cosmetic damage. Rolled it off the transport truck and into the barn for close inspection, installation of windshield which had been carefully removed and padded for transport, called a friend (former LONG Time bmr rider) and took her out for a test spin. Needless to say, she about freaked when i hit 110+! Very stable, nimble, responsive, EXCELLENT Brakes with no mushiness. Overall, one of (if not the best riding bike I have. I ordered a SLEW of parts yesterday from Chicago BMW, so will keep you all informed as to speed of delivery. Already considering the VStream plastic, and possibly a radio for this one, and who knows... maybe even a GPS if I ever get enough time to tour, that is AFTER I get the bike roadworthy, active title, etc. Since I don't yet know how to permanently show stuff at the bottom of my posts, here are my other children who are still sponging off of their ol' dad even after all these years (bunch a freeloaders, if ya ask me). Don't ask!
