Enjoyed having lunch with Dick Largen and babe-magnet (!) Monte Rogers at the Hooters south of Austin today. Thanks to Monte being there, we couldn't keep the waitresses away from our table. By the way, if waitresses with big boobs work at Hooters, where do waitresses with one leg work? IHOP.

Well, you two guys missed dessert & coffee @ Lone Star. Somebody left a yummy cake in the waiting area - really good.

Robert told me they served betw. 700 and 900 folks at the Lone Star Christmas party several days ago. Wow! Frank Shockley could get out in front of Touring Sport BMW in Greenville, SC shouting "FREE BEER", and not get that many folks to stop in. I'd rather live in our much smaller town, though.

Enjoyed the lunch, guys. Swanzy, where were you ???

Enjoyed your company at lunch today too, Bob. So far, looks like we're batting a thousand in treating you to places you've never been to before. I wuz astonished last time, when we led you astray at Catfish Charlies, that you'd never partooken of catfish before. And then today, to find out this wuz your first visit to a Hooters - man, you been leadin' a sheltered life, Bud. ;)

Wish I had taken the time to join you at Lone Star. I needed to thank Peter and Robert for the open house activities, and Karla Kay for all her dessert fixin's that day, and also to thank the shoppe for the set of sidecase luggage that I won as a door prize.

However, I wuz so anxious to git back out on IH-35 and duke it out with the 18-wheelers on the run down to San Antonio. Man, what a mess. At least that new law about not allowing them in the left lane (for nearly 70 miles) seems to be working. I ran into that nice feature on the autobahn in Euro last year and wondered if we'd ever implement that here. It's nice.

BTW Bob - if you wanna meet Hank at Rhinewest, howz 'bout Tuesday? Carl Munger is riding in from Kansas City for service and to store one of his scoots at Rhinewest for when he rides into Mexico coupla times a year. I can meetcha there and do the intro and maybe we'll have time for a cup or somethang down the street. I'll PM ya with some time windows over the week-end.

Sounds good to me, Dick. I'll put it on the calendar and look forward to your post with the time schedule. If I buy a chip from RhineWest for my Z3 (oops - that's Sharon's Z3) with the 4-cylinder engine, will it run like a Z8 ??
