If we want to donate something to the silent auction that is to bulky to carry with us on the ride out, who/when should we ship the item? Should we just ship it to Zermott c/o CCR or is there a specific person that should received it ahead of time? Thanks,

Doug,

Just hang on to it for the time being. Then about a week or two be CCR send it to Zermatt as they will be expecting things to start coming in.

Now I'm in trouble, as I a board member I don't remember who the Silent Auction Chair is, unless Gilda is taking it one more year to train her replacement. As soon someone sounds off to whom that might be, I'd fire a note or PM off to them and let them know what you're donating.

Thanks for supporting CCR and helping with this years charity, yet to be determined.

In order for you to get credit for your donation on our website, and to allow Gilda time to make the bid sheet(s) (it's a real bear to try to do thangs at the last minute at the reonion)- please ship it to her mailbox store. She's accepting all items now and we're very appreciative for anything you want to send. It doesn't have to be motorcycle related and you can request a receipt so you can write your donation off.

This year’s recipient charity will be, Wasatch-Summit County Children’s Justice Center. CJC is a non profit organization which investigates, prosecutes and initiates treatment for children of abuse, sexual abuse, serious physical abuse and neglect. Law enforcement officers, physicians, child protection workers, victim advocates, therapists and prosecutors work as a team to meet the needs of the children and their families.

You can ship to Gilda at:

CCR 2008
C/o Gilda Slomka
3101 Browns Mill Rd #324 Suite 6
Johnson City, TN 37604

Thanks for the update Grif. Looks like you did good on picking our charity for this years www.curvecowboyreunion.com I have most of the thing that I'm donating ready to ship so they'll be going out in a few weeks so Gilda has time to do the "Magic" that she does. ;)

Actually, I haven't had time to work on it this year. Gilda picked the charity and I approve 125%!!!! What a great choice.

See, we don't even have to open our mouths, and stuff gets pushed in!!!

Thank you all for jumping in and spreading the word! Grif has all things correct, as usual. If you have anything for the auction, please send it to the address Grif listed. If time gets short (weeks before CCR), and it hasn't been shipped, you can either ship directly to Zermat with a statement to "Save for Guest(your name)", a statement "For Silent Auction", or bring it your self.

It is preferred that we get things early so that it can be catalogued and all the logistics can be done in advance.

Again, thanks to Grif, Steve_R, Katnapin, and whomever else had all the answers.

Thanks for the info. As always, fast, friendly service. Gilda can expect some mail soon.

I am just not sure how I should pack that spool of pipe thread and the quart of blinker fluid I was planning on donating...:) Is that considered HAZMAT?

....Don't laugh, one never knows when you're gonna need blinker fluid!

I hope it is synthetic 'cause regular will not work in the BMW blinker system. ;)
