Grif was asking at the Lone Star open house, so I promised to publish the rallies I was planning on attending in 2006.
Texas Hill Country Rally: April 12-15, 2006
*LT Spring Training Camp II: April 20-22, 2006
Rango's Roundup in Red River: May 18-21, 2006
Top 'o the Rockies Rally: July 13-16, 2006
Curve Cowboy Reunion: August 29-September 1, 2006
I may or may not be able to make the Spring Training Camp this year. Since it immediately follows the THCR, I doubt I can make time for both like I did for the 2005 event. While this has primarily been a K1200RS event, it has really changed to be a K-Bikes event.
And Rango hasn't made any specific announcement, but with all the great times we've had the past 2 years, I'm sure we can coerce... er, I mean convince Rango to do it again! Rango's little gathering in Red River, NM is a whole lotta fun. I'm hoping we can get the California contingent to drag Raffy out this year.
This schedule also leaves open the month of June for an Arkansas trip. We haven't had the gang together for an Arkansas trip in over 2 years now. So we should really plan on something big for 2006.
And whenever David tells me the dates for the Ft Bragg Trip in October, I'm there!

I don't think I can see Raffy riding all the way to Red River on that K1200R. :D

Yes, we are a "GO" for next year. Your dates are correct. I will post more on it either in late Jan or EARLY Feb. The host hotel doesn't take reservations until mid-or late Jan.
Gitty-up!

I'll probably do early October again next year since the weather seems to be less sketchy, which of course reduces the chance of throwing away an LT. I'm also working on a similar ride in April but south down the coast to Cambria; I want to try and get some of the SoCal folks out for a little fun, too! Dave Moore says he and the Mrs. are going to come out for that one so he can tell you about Camozzi's Saloon. ;) Kari and I are going down there over Xmas and I'm going to try and get the deals made with various locations for it. I'll keep you posted on both.

James is absolutely correct. The Texas Hill Country Roundup is one of the best non-rallies you can attend. Friends, Fun, the Texas "3's", deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. I've been attending this event for the past 5 years, and it is a blast! The "James Gang" sure knows how to put together a fun gathering. The only problem is not becoming Officer Sanchez's bitch!
BTW, this year's event is scheduled from April 12-16, 2006. You can find out more at:
http://www.tbmwsr.com/texas_hill_country.htm
Get registered soon, because James will be shutting off the registration at the end of March.
