Thanks for the post Larry, Thanks to the rest of ya also. 25 years old? You know I have been 29 for sometime now. I wanted to ride today but I had a frost problem this morning and didn't want to chance it. Turned out to be a great day though. Ernie, Funny you should mention gifts. I bought myself a nice new sony alpha A-100 camera with a couple of lenses. I hope I can persuade Dan to show me how to use it on the way to Red River.

John,
Dan and I will be tenatively taking this route. Subject to weather. It has a lot of mileage in the 5-11k elevation but should be a fantastic ride. I still need to hash things out with Dan as to our departure time and pace. He is taking his K1200R so I think he is thinking spirited pace! We also need to come up with a lower elevation alternative. When are you guys arriving RR?

Brian,
Here is a alternate that starts just south of Grand Junction. It takes you on one of the best roads in the west 141 then back to 550 over the million dollar Hwy. After that I routed you to Chama, NM (Billie the Kid Fame) a great old west Railroad town. We plan on spending Wednesday night there and getting in to Red River on Thursday around noon.
The early part of the trip will be in Nevada and Southern Utah, Canyons, Monuments and such.

Nice camera Brian! We will be ready for all photo opportunities. Hopefully we won't be looking for the whiteout setting! :D
Talk to you soon.

Bon Anniversaire Brian!!!
I hope you can make it to Cambria.;)
If not I guess we'll see you in Fort Bragg this Fall, or maybe sooner if you are attending CCR in Utah.

Hey Brian,
Good to see that you are almost joining us Aquarius's!
Have a good one and a great ride to Red River. Take lots of pictures with the new toy!
Did you ever get your software updated to go with the new airbox? I just had mine done last week and it seems to be working as advertised so far (see my post in the GT section)
Happy B-Day!
