So, I'll make my first non-LT post. About three weeks ago I traded my 2002 K1200RS in on a still to shiny 2007 R1200GSA. I used to have a 95 GS, which I modified with a touratech tank...just had to get back on a GS. Nice bike, not as fast or smooth as my RS but I have a totally different attitude when I'm on the GS. Much more comfortable seating position though that stock seat has to go. Looking at a Sargent. The only mods so far are a Kaoko throttle lock and a powerlet adapter for the main accessory outlet. I am looking at a headlight and oil cooler guard, a Wunderlich spray shield and possibly a top box for the future. I have a ride coming this summer to TN, need to get the beast ready.
FYI, the LT is going to South Sound BMW on consignment tomorrow. Can't afford two bike payments.
