It's that time of year again here in Virginia. The time of year I wished I had purchased a house with a garage. Of course, if I had moved up to a house with a garage, I couldn't have afforded an LT. ;)
Nightly tempratures below freezing, snow on the ground and no guarentees of being able to ride from one weekend to the next add up to the following routine for me: put battery into bike; have a great ride; take battery out of bike; suffer withdraw while waiting for another chance to ride. Of course, I keep the battery on a tender in the basement.
I've now had lots of practice with connecting and disconnecting the battery and can probably do it as quickly as anyone. But there's got to be a better way.
Forklifts, golf carts, race cars, and other industrial vehicles have cabling designed for quickly connecting/disconnecting batteries. Does anyone know of a similar product for motorcycles?
