Four years ago today
I broke my leg and way
When off the road I went
The opposite of what I meant
So rest eight days I did
With meds and feeling big
And after all was done and said
At least I wasn't dead

Thinking now of what it was
About my riding and the cause
I'm better off to move on
And not be so forlorn
Better to look for shamrocks in the sky
Than leprechauns in your pie
At least that's what I always say

For those that don't know me, I was riding this bike on March 17th 2004 when I crashed it on Sutter-Ione Rd. with Scott (who was first at the scene) and about 9 others going to the new Mels Diner in Jackson.

That was a crazy night for sure Roger. I'm so glad you recovered fully from that. I was through there not long ago the you can no longer see the pieces of your bike in the field:cool:
