That's right folks Bill and Lyn have a new K1200LT and are riding again! As I wrote some 5 1/2 months ago Lyn and I broke our ankles in a low-side accident on the way home from CCR last year. After all the hard casts/soft casts/therapy/recovery crap we went through we picked up a new 2008 K1200LT in Barritz Blue last Friday. Unfortunately it started raining while we were at the dealer picking it up so my first ride on the new bike was in the rain.
So now its time to start the mods! Or maybe I'll just ride it for a while. We need to get some miles on it so its broken in by the time we leave for Utah. I figure 5-10K miles in the next couple of months should be about right. I hope I have the time.
So.....I'm expecting to see everyone at CCR in Zermatt and remember Blue is the new fastest color. (OOPS...I just remember I promised the wife I'd slow down.....)
