Zermatt (http://zermatt.dolce.com/) just finished a renovation of a great outdoor pavilion where we will have our banquet and other events during our 2008 Curve Cowboy Reunion (http://www.curvecowboyreunion.com). This pavilion had a kind of 'athletic' feel to it when I first visited the property, with basketball backdrops, large overhead doors and a painted concrete floor. Our event coordinator at Zermatt just sent me photos of the completed renovations acknowledging that it was our initial discussions of the Reunion that gave the beginning spark that eventually led to the renovation.

This room will be a really great point of interest for many things during the reunion, not just the closing banquet.
Things are really beginning to crank up for CCR 2008. We are beginning to put together vendors, presenters, meals and entertainment. Some of you may or may not realize just how much work goes into the planning of these Reunions, but board members and volunteers are already hard at work. We can always use more volunteers - if you are attending and wish to help out, here (http://www.curvecowboyreunion.com/volunteer.php) is the place.
These Reunions have become somewhat legendary over the years as the only exclusively hotel-based, limited attendance gatherings specifically focused on the BMW luxury touring riders and passengers. The people you meet, the things you do and the friends you will make are the primary goals and benefits of our reunions, but there is much, much more. We have one of the few motorcycle events that is not another boy's club - we focus on riders and passengers, men and women. This will be the ninth year of creating these gatherings and each year we rise to the challenge of improving on our past events.
Tucked in the Wasatch Mountains with spectacular views of the Heber Valley in Utah, Zermatt Resort will bring a Swiss flair to this year's reunion. As a bookend to the riding season, the Curve Cowboy Reunion is going to be in my plans. With the spectacular rides we have available in this part of Utah and with the gorgeous and brand new Zermatt Resort (http://zermatt.dolce.com/) as the host property, this one could be one of the best yet. Because of the type of event, we always have to limit attendance - this year is no exception. If you haven't made your plans and entered your registration, take the time to do it soon - you won't regret it.
An added benefit to each years Reunion is our charity. As an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we have a focus each year on leaving a charitable impact in each community we visit. When you attend, participate in our silent auction or other fund raising activities, you are adding to the funds we will generate for a local charity. The amounts we generate each year are substantial, often many times larger than generated by other larger national rallies. This charitable contribution we leave in each community leaves a lasting impression of the 'better side of motorcycling.
If you want to find out more about our reunions, visit our website (http://www.curvecowboyreunion.com), send an email to questions@curvecowboyreunion.com or send a me PM (http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=1574) directly. If you have suggestions, feel free to send those as well.
