Yeah, tell me about it! The wind is blowing about 20mph with gusts to 30, and it's only supposed to be upper 50's today! When is it ever going to warm up? That 92F day we had last week spolied me.........

:rant:You got four dozen other guitars to play and one of'em is a kinda new purchase. Grab one of them and turn the knob to 11.

It's sunny and the high will be 68 in San Jose today. I have a new bike in the garage that's begging to be ridden. I am in the house sick with a fever, and two conference calls to do for work today.

This sucks!!!

And NOW ... they're predicting 12 to 24" OF FREAKIN' SNOW!!!! O joy.

We going to stoke up the fire, crack open a Cab, and I'm going to crack up the amp and jam all night. I can't think of anything else to do.

It's a good thing you're married, Joe. The way you go through toys, you couldn't afford to be dating. :histerica

At this time in my life on this planet, that asset is not always available 24/7! :stir:

How's this for today . . . guess I'm non-essential! {YEAH! :yeah: }

"Given existing weather conditions and the forecast for the balance of the day, non-critical operations, based on division and department management's judgment, may begin allowing employees to leave anytime after 2 PM."

From the NWS

SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND BECOME HEAVY AT
TIMES. SNOWFALL WILL ACCUMULATE 3 TO 4 INCHES BY DARK. ADDITIONAL
SNOW IS EXPECTED TONIGHT AND PERSIST THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY ON
SATURDAY. BY THE TIME THE SNOW TAPERS OFF SATURDAY NIGHT...TOTAL
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IN EXCESS OF A FOOT WILL BE POSSIBLE.
GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY
THIS STORM. THIS WILL LEAD TO BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW AS
WELL AS PERIODS OF REDUCED VISIBILITIES ON AREA ROADWAYS TONIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.

Actually, buying and selling guitars on eBay is what afforded me my first BMW. ;)

Our weather radio just went off with an alert, changing the winter storm warning to a blizzard warning. WTH?

My boss, who takes pity on me for my long commute, sent me home at 11:00. The snow plows are not able to keep up with what is coming down.

Looking out the window now (4:20 PM) I'm guessing we have 6" of snow, with lots more predicted through tomorrow. Definitely our biggest snowfall this season, when it's all over.

There are lots of BMW dealers with open houses scheduled for tomorrow. I hope they reschedule. That, or stock snowmobiles.
