Help, guys. Rational thought is breaking down. I've got a perfectly fine LT. I live in southeast Fladah, where the only curves are the roundabouts and there really is almost no outback. I'm not even going to be home for awhile. I say these things, over and over and over, to myself. I've ridden four cylinder bikes for a very long time. I like swoopy looks, comfort....

Is there no way to make those GSAs stop whispering, whispering, whispering? I say" What if my wife wants to ride?" They remind me she has her own bike. Science! I say. Rational thought! The voices don't seem to care.

Is there a cure or must I take the plunge? Do younger GSAs get along with older LTs? I know many of you have switched/added. Most of the posts dealing with this dilemma are written soon after the decision was made. How about some updates now more time has passed?

Is there no way to make those GSAs stop whispering, whispering, whispering? I say" What if my wife wants to ride?" There are only two known cures, buying one or :brick:.

My three bikes get along pretty well in the garage but the Heritage Softail is the biggest complainer when it comes to my riding choices.

So, basically you guys are just telling me to abandon hope? Mild thoughts of a Buell, G Strom have no effect whatsoever. The trip to New Zealand may cause remission but, like other insidious diseases (malairia, guitars, boats) I fully expect a return. And I was hoping to get off oil altogether...

I got my GS Adventure in 2006 and still can't get the hook out of my mouth.

The LT and GSA get along so well, that the only issue that I seem to be having is trying to figure out how to bring BOTH bikes on a long trip with me with out having to *gasp* trailer them.

Jim - I feel your pain! The GS voice just wouldn't leave me alone and I've surrendered. Great deal on an '07 lingering at my dealer, and she's coming home on Monday to join my LT.

You may not be able to hold out!

Good luck . . . and keep us posted . . .
