Good report, seems like the ride went fairly well. Being that you were on the rode for 1000+ miles on those roads (ridden them a few times myself over the last couple of years) and probably not looking to chipper yourself. I wonder what stories that young lady tells about this wild eyed motorcyclist that left his fries and wanted to pay for free water to prove he was here????? :rolleyes::D

Nicely done. I am going to attempt my first ss1000 this spring, and have researched a few routes. The Reno to the coast over 299 seems like a good stretch to add into my possible route.
