Uploading a movie clip??????????

I tryed to upload a movie clip on a forum, and got the message "Invalid extension file". The file extension is a .wmv file from my windows media player...
My question is how does one attach this video clip to a thread????

Upload it to the Photo Gallery, Copy the link to the clip (available after posting the clip), Post the link in the forum thread.
