Multichanger CD

Does anyone know how to switch these things on?? The handbook is useless and the agents can't tell me! :confused:

Are you talking about the CD changer in the right rear bag on the LT? If so, it should come on when you choose the CD option on the dash radio. Have you loaded the magazine with CDs and are they facing the right way? You can normally hear it cycle with the case open when you press the changer - if not - you may not be getting power. Or, can you even extract the magazine? If not, you may have other problems.

It will be the "second" CD selectable. The first push will get you the single CD unit in the control head. Press it a second time and the CD changer should show up. If it doesn't then it is not being detected by the software (i.e. failed or disconnected).

Thanks for the advice...the cd option only operates when the personal cd is filled otherwise it comes up "no cd"..push again gives "radio", push again "aux". But you have given me some things to think about/fiddle with..which is better (and faster) than BWM UK have managed! :toast: (It is the unit in the rear right pannier..filled to bustin' and the right way up.)

Gave up in frustration after fiddling...at next service (independent specialist) told me the software was missing....will try to twist arm of local agent to supply...
