I need bit more Space underneath my LT.

Hi Guys

Now,, first of all I’m planning long haul trip from Thailand to Europe via several not so good road countries, i.e. Pakistan and iran, india and so fort...

i need few inch more clearance underneath of my LT,,any suggestions how to succeed on this?

There is no rush as trip is planned for 2009, but i need to know a lot of thing's and preparation has started already..

If you need a few more inches clearance under your LT, then the LT is NOT the bike you want to take on that trip. Perhaps a GS would be more in line with your needs.

I agree, you gain ground clearance by shedding @ 350#, loose the trunk and frontal fairing ..... Hell think it would just be best to use a GS instead.

That is the whole point, i dont want to do it with GS as every one is doing with it, i wanna do it with style and comfort and i was just checking if there would be nice way to do it with out compomizing stability.

any how, i got new pair of shocks and that should do it.
