Yesterday between Fox Glacier and Queenstown New Zealand we stopped at a small countryside cafe...there where several bikes.. an Ayers tour... the group was seated at outside table... I began talking to them and one guy says...I know you , do you remember me... well at STC they came from Michigan in the large Airsteam rig and their friends had the large RV...all had LTs..., we exchanged pictures of each other headed off in opposite directions....

This was the STC where Susan Galpin was the speaker, we talked about that STC and he told the group about her ride on Bob's LT... for those there you remember she couldn't reach the ground... we held the LT up and she rode off and came back in awhile..never stopping or touching the ground...

More later... we took our first day off from riding today in Queenstown and hanging out, tomorrow we head South in search of Bert Monroe's Fastest Indian, we undertand it is on display in a general store in the southern tip of the Island...

The BMW motorcycling community is a small one...small world we live in...

"Having too much fun"

More later...

Don, my niece Corinne (same last name) lives in Dunedin; she is engaged to a fellow from Alexandra. His parents own the James Love Winery; if you're in the neighborhood stop by and say "hi" from Uncle Howard!

Howard, I was in Dunedin yesterday and spent the night there as well... hate I missed that chance to say hi... Dunedin is a great place.... the train station and churches are outstanding. I will post some pictures later.

A vintage Bentley car club was housed at the same motel and we shared the road together up to Mt. Cook.. about 50 Bentley(s)
