I am looking to mount a still digital camera using the reservoir ball mount system. I have to use the right as the left has my Valentine already set up and I do not want to move it.

I would like to get a camera that I can use a remote control with to turn on and take a picture via a remote control that I can perhaps attach to the left top side of my tank bag or anywhere else really that allows me to use my left hand.

Does anyone know of some quality point and shoots that have such remote controls?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what qualifies as a "point n shoot" camera for you, but I do know that the Canon Digital XTi has a "REMOTE" see http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=14256#ModelTechSpecsAct

Thanks - but I was thinking of something smaller as it is going to be sitting over and in front of the throttle.

Actually I have a Canon 10D but I think it is a bit pricey to expose to the bugs and dirt.

Thank you. I think you may have solved the issue. I will re-post once it gets all configured. Thanks again - the power of the collective mind at work. :)
