i've recently started having problems with my clutch slipping under power in the taller gears. purged fluid with clean and it just really feels like my clutch is gone at 20k.. the question is
1. out of all the clutch parts what ones do i really need to replace and is there a good online supplier.
2. i've read that the bmw seal is potentially at fault do to potential leakage and that there is a better after market seal. if so does anybody know the name and where to get one.
thanks for what ever help might come about. garth

Garth ,, There are 3 concern's, any one of them or all caused your failure.
1- Rear main seal oring,, rarely the other seal for the main. If you can find a viton oring they will last much longer.
2-Front trans input seal.
3-Slave cylinder.

I would repair with OEM parts . Aside from the thrust washer, seals, clutch housing nut, clutch plate and clutch housing screws thats it . Unless the thrust plate and housing cover are burnt up.
Good Luck
