Any of you guys want to do a tech session before we leave for STC or the May VT ride? I now have the Harbor freight lift so it would be easier to work on these monsters.

I would like to participate. Just got a 2001 LT after having a Yahama Venture for 24+ years and 90K miles. Dont know much about the LT but have been reading a lot. I could hold the tool box and flashlight.

If I am in town on the date you pick, I'll be there.

Jim:
I'm in the middle of my 24K service right now including the weep hole and canisterectomy, but I would like to attend if my schedule allows.

Count me in on this one guys!
If you want, I have all the stuff to mount my new GPS on it (yes, Jim I know I said I would never get one!) and we could use that as a "how-to" if anyone else is interested?

I was going to borrow a friends heater for the garage. Are you offering space for tech session?

Well, I've got no heat either AND I don't own a lift like some people! :)
I also think that my location would not be an attraction for many...

I picked up a Garmin 2610 from one of the other members, although it's a little dated right now I'll use it for a while and see if I like it with updated maps.
Oh, and I have a couple electric heaters and I can borrow a kerosene "jet" heater too if we think we need one. Gerard, you're still attractive even with the location!! :histerica

Kevin, You really worry me sometimes...
I had a 2610 before I got my 2730. The 2610 is good, but it does not recalculate a route nearly as fast as the 27xx or 28xx series. Now, for some that might not be an important issue, but it is for me!

Hey, let me know when and where, and if I can, I'll try to make it.
I could offer a mid-summer tech session at our house - something intense like "checking your tire pressures" (I have a compressor) followed by "sitting in a float in the pool" (Tiki Bar stool is an option).
Hey, it's not too productive, but........ :-)

Hey I like that idea. SpineDR may need the air preasure tech session.

Yeah, Coronas - no problemo! They just happen to be the preferred choice of Telle, so we always have a supply in the cooler during the summer.
Me, well, I make a mean Rum Swizzle at the Tiki Bar... (okay, I'm mixing a Pina Colada here, but the swizzles go quickly)

How does nitrogen work in the pool floats?? Or is it helium. :histerica
