Hand Guards ...

Somewhere on the web (may have even been here) I found details of someone who'd fitted R1200GS (I think) hand guards to their K1200GT. The article had a write up explanation and pictures.

Of course now I want to check it out again I cannot find it. Does anyone else know when I can find the posting?

The link Bob posted should give you what you need.

I fitted 1150GS guards, and another guy went with 1200GS guards. Both work with a little trimming, and both just touch the fairing at full lock, unless you have bar risers fitted.
