View Full Version : Anyone used SPII GArmin Mapsource software on Vista?

Did you have to do anything special to get it working?

For clarification, do you mean II . . . or did you mean to type SPIII?

FWIW, on Garmin's website (http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209) they state that Mapsource works with Windows Vista.

Had the same problem, called Garmin Support it seems there is a file that should be in the Windows System directory that's missing but is included on the Mapsource CD. Don't remember the file name, call Garmin Tech Support they are excellent.

Support say there will be no problem....hmmmm, somehow I think they are wrong!

Cookie.. the MapSource SW for my 2610 actually did install... and works fairly well... SHOCK!
