I've been watching some of the classified ads and wondered what happened for instance to the BMR co pilot shelf ad? Last I saw there were days left, and now its not even listed. Where did it go and why was it removed if indeed it was removed?

Is there a means to be e-mailed updates such as they do with Ebay, for items you are interested in, or send reminders for items you are bidding on?

The only thing worse than missing the $10 Muddiman armrests that were sold, would have been if I had ordered a new set and then saw the ad...a couple of days later.

Great job on the classifieds, and thanks in advance!

Maybe something extra for "paid" subscribers?

Some good questions. I'm going to try to answer.

What happened to the BMW co-pilot shelf? Very simple: another user agreed to pay the "Buy it now price" and the auction was ended. Same thing with the armrests. Both were my items. Once items are sold, once the items are marked as sold in the classifieds they are taken out from circulation. There is simply no point in having items hang around for too long.

Does that answer our questions?

Actually there is a way to get an email: If you look at a category, then you will find "Subscribe to Category" at the end of the category listing. This is supposed to send you and email for every new listing that comes online, and you can choose which category you are interested, so that you get only the email you really want. (We *HATE* spam)

Attempting to get used to the new format, I still liked the ability of the old format to see everything on one page. I was hoping to keep track of what the items sold for, such as the Co pilot shelf. Even though it was sold on a bid, I would have liked to know what it went for and when. That was one item I had intended to bid on, I thought there was time left to do so, and next I knew, it was gone.

Appreciate all the time and effort that goes into running the operation!

As always ith auctions, if you see something you like you have to act.

Just a suggestion for y'all.

Since the classified went to the new format and it doesn't come up under new post's,
I created a new "favorites" shortcut for the classified,
now I go there first then click on last day to see what's new,
(cause I rarely go more than a day without visiting "our forum")
and then go home for new posts from there.
