I tried to search with no success. Do you know of a source of Tunnel Fillers for the K LT? They are made of foam and are praised on the Gold Wing boards. TIA

Had a wing & had tunnel fillers. Don't need them on a LT. On a wing you can look down by the base of the handle bars & see the road, wind & rain comes up through that tunnel & hit you in the face. That tunnel on the LT is covered & has a rubber gasket around it. The rubber gasket might squeek sometimes but, you don't need no foam rubber tunnel filler.

As for the squeak, you can spray in some silicone spray or some belt dressing around the edge of the fork cover panel. That lubricates the gasket and eliminates the squeak.

When I had my 2000 LT apart to replace the front shock, I was able to take some fine sandpaper and really smooth out the edge of the plastic thingy that rubs on the rubber insert. Then I used the slicone spray and the squeek hasn't returned as for two riding seasons.

Interesting, silicone doesn't last long.

I tried silicone spray, found it to be a pretty short "fix". I then used permatex spray belt dressing, that would last for a LONG time.

I had a Wing, I like the LT squeek! That's why you see GoldWing riders with the best rain gear & you see them putting it on when it's just a drizzle.
