Some of y'all know how enamored I am of the old WWII P-40 Shark war plane.

We got to talking about it on the k-bikes site and another guy and I got some folks to whip up a batch. I can't wait till it gets here. Affordable, too!

You even got a design credit on their website! Does that mean that you're gonna start wearing a beret and walking around with paint brushes sticking out of your pockets? :rotf:

now........ where do we find a "spinner" for the front and some .50's? Those bag don't look like they'll hold "the full 9 yards".

Maybe not historically accurate, but a pair of .20's on each side of the tank. The whole 18?

your design looks really nice! I played around with the concept but never got beyond the "microsoft paint" stage as you can see.

I based it off the stickers from this site:

Link - make sure to scroll down to find it (http://www.military-graphics.com/badges8.html)

Please post the pictures once your design is in place, would love to see it for real.

Com'on Greg, if you're such a fan you should know that a P-40 was not known as a Shark but rather the Warhawk.
The sharks mouth was a popular adornment added to Allied aircraft because it was thought that the Nippo mindset feared the shark.

Yes that graphic is cool. :thumb: :thumb:

On a side note. There's a Kawasaki around here that is painted like a WWII Kawasaki. Yep, all green with the red meatball on the side and other added subtleties.

That being said maybe the BMW should be dressed more like Fockewulfs. :bmw:

Man, sometimes I lose words. I know stuff, but the brain won't access it. Then, out of the blue, there it is. Really torques my bisquits when it happens at 3 ayem.
