Not sure if everyone is aware these ties exist, but they are IMO, the finest electrical ties I have ever used. I purchased some probably 15 years ago, had used up the last of those a long time ago, and was unable to find any since. I saved what I had left only for the most important of jobs.

After quite a bit of searching on the net and a stop at the local fastener store early last year, I located the manufacturing info, but still had not found a place to buy them.

A couple of weeks ago, I happened to find some of these at Home Depot!

What is so special about these ties are:
They are completely smooth!
The head has a metal locking clip.
Once you cut the excess off, you could not cut yourself if you wanted to with the head of this tie. Run one through your hands, no sharp edges, anywhere.

Home Depot had them in two lengths, I believe they are 7" & 11".

Cost was considerably more than the usual ties you find everywhere else, but worth every cent.

Can't forget to mention the tie installation tool. Don't know how I ever worked without one of those. The one I have was made by Thomas & Betts Co., Cat No WT-197 "adjustable tension installing tool."

Being a retired electrician. T&B products are sold almost exclusively by electrial supply houses. Hint...don't cut the tail off...get a grip with plyers up close to the lock and twist it off...no sharp edges. works on all brands of ty/raps

I get mine from rswww.com (they've now got outlets in the States).
