I barely had our RT before the clutch started to go after only 300 miles, so I had no confidence with the clutch on that machine. First I ever heard of a dry clutch. When we traded it for the LT, and I started the Ride Like A Pro IV exercises, I was inclined to just leave the clutch out, use the rear brake and use the throttle as needed, did not want any clutch issues on this bike. Problem with that was the temp gage was way up there, and the air temp was in the low 40's. I did not want to risk damaging the LT clutch by feathering the friction zone...
So my question is, are you doing these exercises and using the friction zone on the clutch or not? Any other suggestions.....
Thanks!
