Spline Lube

Just came back from the dealer (Cliff's BMW in Danbury, CT). I'm getting ready to do the 24K service and decided to drill the slave cylinder weep hole. I asked both the parts dept. and Service Manager which lube to use for the spline when reassembling and they sold me a $20 tube of Kluberpaste, 46MR401. They swear that this is the correct lube for the job. Any opinions before I use it?
