After hearing the same "I had a dream" so many times I too found myself yawning and wishing for a nice bed...:stir:

Maybe while his wife is on the campaign trail he's spending a lot of time with Monica.

A society that overlooked his outrageous behavior while in office should have no trouble overlooking falling asleep during a long speech. We've all done that.
<Obligatory note: the above comment is not meant to start or inflame a political debate. Just an observation about things we are willing to overlook.>

Believe that sermon, if thats what it was, would have had about the same effect on me too.

Does anyone else wonder if this had been a conservative instead of Bill that there would have been an outcry about disrespect towards MLK. There probably would have been an apology at least. Maybe Bill really was the first black president.:D This is not meant to start a political debate, just an observation.

But what if it had been Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson instead...?

Lets go a step further, consider Obama, Hillary or the "Breck Boy". With our system today, they would have to resign, or face that same old "tough race question" for the next month.
I may not agree with any of them, but, it still "pisses me off" that sleeping during a boring sermon/lecture you may lose a viable canidate.
Can't we just go back to IDEAS and PHILSOPHIES??? (don't Tase me Bro)

When asked about whether or not Bill Clinton was the first black president, Obama said (among other things) that he would have to investigate his dancing abilities to determine if he was really a brother. Not something most of us could get away with.

Sen. Obama gets a big audience laugh when he says that -- as he should, because it was clever, a little funny, a little self-deprecating (in a racial sort of way). You or I say it... we get accused of something.

How many live's/careers have been ruined because of the dreaded N-word?
If "they" really hate it so much, why don't "they" stop using "it"?
Edit: sorry I forgot this is supposed to be humor.
