That's way old news Jerry. So not to worry. I don't think that's going to become the standard for which all bikes are built.

But for the sake of playing Devil's advocate ... Just think, some riders would rather be seen on that than on your BMW. Food for thought.

Read the story of company, get up close and look at the design and craftsmanship of the components. Confederate makes quality pieces. The style may not be "mainstream", but does that really matter? If it did, there are a lot of folks who would label all BMW riders (especially GT riders) as idiots.

Shit, wait a minute....

I agree. Those bikes are so much more interesting than the crap put out there by all the "custom" bike builders.

Custom bikes? Meh, been there, seen that. You know?

Confederate's bikes just draw a mechanically minded person in. It's not just bolted together, it's built.

A few years ago BMW made the r1200c. Relax Lonewolf the world is big enough for a few more styles, forms and makes of motorcycles. Will they be around for the long haul, only time will tell. It looks well made, with a style not often seen. Give it a chance it may grow on you or not. Where I live you don't see many BMW's and a very few r1200c. If it were not for change what style would we have to ride today. kola1

I actually hope they can continue to make a go of it. They are making some of the most interestingly styled and mechanically innovative bikes in the market today. The story of their history and philosophy behind the bikes is great, and they've overcome quite a bit, including Hurricane Katrina, and continued to make great products. If I had the extra $$$ and garage space I would love to have a Wraith; that thing is just evil, in a VERY,very good way.
