I started to lable this "Sticky throttle cable" but then I happened to think it might not be the cable. I don't have a problem when it is 40 degrees or warmer but this evening when I got on her to go home, I noticed that it took a little more effort to open the throttle. When I would turn loose it would not return to idle, it just stayed where I had it. After 5 mile trip home, it was working a little better but still slow to return to idle. Temp outside was 28 degrees. Any ideas? Guess I need to tell you that it is a 2006 k1200lt with 13,00 miles on here. Don

sounds about right the heat will cause expansion freeing up the inner cable unless there is a kink in the cables, going by the year it probably a warranty issue
