I am doing some "winter remodeling" in my garage. Part of that was to build a cover for my compressor to keep it a bit quieter (can't put it outside).
My daughter (who is quite a young artist) offered to paint a large BMW Logo on the front of it. Below is a pic of her beginning. Keep watching...I will post more as she continues and then a photo of the finished cover in the shop!
She rides ANYWHERE with me. What a joy!

Well now, if they paid as much attention to the threads concerning final drive failures on this site, we'd all be happy. But honestly, it's just a painting in my garage. :p

Hey Jack, after she finishes with the logo, paint a final drive 4%er next to it. That'll keep it quiet with BMW :histerica

Now that's funny Graham. She is actually working on the top of the logo from the top side. The logo is right side up. Does kinda look funny though!
Man, she started on that thing this morning....free handed it...no stencils...and she has been painting all day. I came home from work and the heat had knocked off in the garage...cold as heck and she was still painting! :D

She is doing great work and it should do your heart and soul good to have a child so talented and dedicated to enjoying herself, and pleasing her father.
You are a very blessed man.

Thanks for the comments! I have attached pictures of my compressor cover and my great daughter! It sure does look good AND it quieted down my compressor! An added benefit is that it gives me another small work bench area for small projects!
Yea, I know my camera date is still off. :( I've tried to reset it three times!

Very nice job and that it's functional is all the better. Now have the artist in the family reset that date for you! Bet she can do it! Kids ARE awesome!

Jack, I've been watching this thread with interest. Amazing work. Congratulations to your daughter... and to Mom and Dad.
So, I'm thinking you should take your Traveling Artist Show on the road once she's out of school for the summer. Go from Tech Session to Tech Session, painting BMW logos in workshops and performing various mechanical and electrical wonders on bikes, for room and board.
