Rumor has it that Gold Coast Motorcycles is the new BMW dealer on Long Island.
see them here:

They were one of the original contenders, backed out and now are in again. Hope it is true as LI has been without an authorized dealer for over 3 years.

Nuttin yet!
Allegedly, their building onto their current dealership to accommodate the needed space.
An area with such a large disposable income and no Dealer support! Yet, we have dozens of HD and Honda dealers but none for Beemers!
For cryin out loud, even 2 strictly KTM and Victory/Polaris Dealers and no place to legally ride an off road bike within a 2 hour drive.

Just goes to show you what BMW Corporate thinks of their customers (future or existing). Over 3 years without a dealer, crimianl IMHO. From what I was led to believe it, wasn't due to unqualified prospects. BMW has only themselves to blame.
Thankfully I am only 10 miles from the best dealer in the tri-state, Cross Country BMW. I'm wiating for the next version of the LT, hopefully it is well waiting for. Meanwhile I am enjoying my Ultra Classic.

I'm not sure if this old news or new news or even good news. I'm just passing it along for the group's knowledge.

Just got the word that next month, Gold Coast Motorcycles in New Hyde
Park will become the official Long Island BMW Motorcycle Dealership.
Even better news is that they've hired John Nick, the resident mechanic
at the former Precision Motorcycles in Valley Stream.
I've known John for years and he is a good, conscientious and meticulous
mechanic. He's worked on my BMW K1200LT almost from Day 1 and is very
familiar with it. I have no hesitation at all bringing my bike to Gold
Coast knowing John will be there.
Just thought I'd pass this along.
