Ride today in the rain, 8 Jan 08

Well had to do it, the temperature was 14c and a little drizzle. So, I went out for a nice 1-1/2 hour ride in the rain. Felt good to get back on the bike after having about 12" snow around here.

No doubt a great way to spend an hour or two but getting out of a cage...

I was under the impression that there was much more than a paultry 40cm of snow up there. This is the first year in at least 5 that we didn't head to Kitchener for the Holidays. Talking to family on on the 31st I believe it was, they were getting hammered and already had 40cm on the ground with much more to go...

Tonight might was better, but I had other things to do. Almost all our snow is gone, roads are clear and dry, no rain. The 12" (30cm) snow we had is almost gone.

Either my math was off or it was a typo... wish i could remember! :rotf: 2.52cm/inch, 12 inch roughly 30cm... sheesh. gettin' old...
