40 degrees out this morning and I got to ride to work. No electrics. Just layered up a bit more than usual by using a fleece vest under the jacket. Turned the grip heater on and that was it. Face shield up too. Nice and invigorating.

You start early. I left the house at 7:50 am.
BTW, I re-routed the throttle cable on the 900SS as well as the fast idle cable. It was the throttle cable that was causing the high revs. I routed it to the outside of the right fork and that solved the problem.
Also installed an SAE fused lead to be able to charge the battery. Have to do the same for the K1200R. The outlet on the K12R is rated at 5 amps. Need to put a 15 amp fused lead from Powerlet so I can run electrics or V1 or what have you.

It was about 36 or 37 in Escondido this morning at 730. I did not use electricts yet. I will have to go find my scarf though. It's starting to get a little bit chilly. :)

I ride to and from work everyday. Working the afternoon shift is great for riding in, but a bit cold on the way home. Just used the Gerbings the other day for the first time. It made the ride home very enjoyable.

TOday was the warm day - 22 degrees....
Rest of the week it is supposed to be 15 or less on the way in with snow forecast for Wednesday...
Santa is talking to me about some Gerbings, but it may not happen soon enough!
Besides, I have this t-shirt that says year round.... ;-)

Howdy Raffy,
Rode Wolfgang this morning, but kept the face shield down. Don't want to risk frostbite, literally :)

I WFH'd (worked from home) today, so I guess it probably doesn't count. I did drive the wife to chemo #3 this afternoon in the cage, tho. Can't afford to let her catch cold.

I rode to work this morning.... in the high 50's... 49 degrees going home.
But, I had the grips, the seat, and the electric vest on.
It's hard to believe that I grew up in Montana !!!!

Howdy Mike,
Next time we get together, you can take Wolfgang out for a stroll
I know your response will be the same as Will Smith's exclaim in Independence Day, "I have GOT to get me one of these!!"
First....... ,then nothing but :D :D

Rode today. The temp gauge was flashing 36 degrees letting me know about frost. The City has 7 parking spaces infront of the new city hall. Usually there are 4-6 bikes there. Today when I pulled up, none. The garage accross from work had 3 bikes there (the usual diehard riders).
