Thinking of buying an old K75 (1990), but the biggest question in my mind is availability of parts (in US) for a bike that is ~18 years old and stopped production over 10 years ago. Anyone know how difficult / easy it is to get parts?

I have a 1984 K100RT and have no problems getting parts from my BMW dealer. Since both the K75 and K100's used most of the same parts I don't think you will have any problems getting parts.

Last thing I ordered were some new strip hinges for the side cases. Chicago BMW had 'em! :bmw:
There are a number of sites that have the web microfische equivalent to ID parts.
A&S (http://www.ascycles.com/illustrated_parts_catalog_main.aspx)
MAX BMW (http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/fiche.asp)
Also Beemer Boneyard (http://www.beemerboneyard.com/1sections.html)
They weren't called the "Flying brick" for nothing. Lots still on the road including mine.

That is the really good part about BMW. You can get parts very easy for old BMW's. The K75 should be no exception.
