I recently bought a new notebook with Vista. With my Windows XP I could right click on a photo and resize it. I had a download called XP Powertoy Image resizer. I have learned that Powertoy is not compatible but that there are several free programs available that will work. I'm looking for some who has downloaded one and been happy with it. Thanks in advance for reading this and helping.

Good Morning Gene:
I use a program downloaded from www.faststone.org
I send lots of images to my webmaster and have to resize each of them. It also crops, fixes red eye, etc etc. I'm still using Windows XP, so I don't know about its compatibility with Vista. Give it a kick anyway and see what happens. I'm sure there are lots of other programs out there, but the price was right on this one. No charge.
Good luck and happy new year.

http://www.irfanview.com/ works pretty good. Has lots of plugins for various "versions" of files...

Since Vista came out, I have been using the following:

It is a free program for Vista.
