Did anyone read the review in the December issue of BMW ON magazine regarding Tomahawk "re-molded" tires? The review said the tires are re-molded from bead to bead, not just a tread covering. The wet and dry road grip was as good as Metzlers and Bridgestones and they sell for about half price. They are available in various colors too. The writer addresses the "you must be crazy" attitude of most of the bikers he spoke with regarding them, but says he put them through their paces for 4000 miles and loved them. What do you think?

Retreads might be OK on a much lighter bike but with the tire problems documented here I would not use them

This company provides retreads to all of the major airlines around the world. In case you do not know when you land in a 747 you are most likely landing on retreads. These tires are most likely better than the original tires since they are individually inspected not like the production tires which are randomly inspected.

Which one? Those two are far apart in wet grip!

My mistake. In the article her says, "...I was very, very impressed, wet or dry, they handled as well or better than Metzlers and Dunlops on which I have ridden in the past." Sorry for the error.
