Another problem... reverse.

Bought my 2000 LT this summer. Reverse worked when it was demonstrated but does not now. Admittedly the tupperware has been off 3-4 times fixing many other problems. I've done the searches here and checked following.
1. All fuses ok
2. Goes into reverse at lever ok
3. "R" light comes on.
4. Push starter switch engine speeds up
5. Light flashes and rear wheel does not turn
6. Checked for disconnected connectors near battery and around tank as suggested. Also checked for crushed wires, none.
7. Checked reverse switch visually looks good but can't really get to it.

Check what else?

The "speed sensor" could be making poor connection.. I'd look for that first.

Also, if you made changes to the rear lights, like adding your own led's, etc.. that can mess with the "reverse" function... apparently if there is not enough "resistance" in the rear brake light circuit it messes up the reverse. no kidding, ask Deputy 5211
